What’s New on the 2024 Trailblazer?
The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer is the most stylish and advanced model to date, offering new wheel designs and two new dynamic colors that turn heads and offer a great first impression. In addition, you’ll notice a new front fascia and trim-specific grilles. For instance, when choosing the Trailblazer RS, the mesh grille offers a nod to the sportier side of the Trailblazer. The Trailblazer ACTIV boosts that impression even further with the addition of Sport Terrain Tires and a highly-tuned off-road suspension.
On the inside, standard features like an 11-inch touchscreen infotainment center keep you and your passengers connected through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You’ll also enjoy the 8-inch full digital instrument cluster that provides vital information about your Trailblazer’s performance and alerts from Chevy’s many safety features. And speaking of safety, there’s also a standard high-definition rearview camera. Last but not least, the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer boasts a standard push-button start that takes convenience to the next level.
A Closer Look at the 2024 Trailblazer
The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer offers four trims in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive. Each one offers a unique grille and other benefits that keep you connected and safe, whether driving around town or heading to Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge for some time on the trails. And if you’re tackling off-roading at Catahoula Recreation Off-Road Park, the new Trailblazer might be exactly what you’re looking for.
In addition to the standard features listed above, all four trims give you confidence with Chevy Assist, a collection of safety features that include Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Following Distance Indicator, and more.
The Chevy Trailblazer LS
The base model front-wheel drive Trailblazer has an ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo engine offering 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. When opting for the all-wheel drive version, you get a 1.3L Turbo engine and 155 hp with 174 lb-ft of torque. You also can tow as much as 1,000 lbs, which is perfect for a small trailer. For the interior, you’ll get a four-speaker audio system with three years of On-Star Remote Access, a 40/60 split-folding rear bench seat, a six-way manual driver seat, and premium cloth seating.
There are also USB ports for charging devices and seamless connection to technology through the infotainment system. Also, you can opt for the LS Driver Confidence or the LS Convenience Package. The Confidence Package includes driver-assisted features like Rear Park Assist, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. On the other hand, the Convenience Package offers deep-tinted rear glass and Remote Start.
The Chevy Trailblazer LT
The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer LT offers many of the same features as the LS, including the engine options. In addition, you get Remote Start and the ability to add the LT Cold Weather Package, which includes heated driver and front passenger seats, a heated and wrapped steering wheel, and a wrapped shift knob. You’ll also enjoy the convenience of Keyless Open and Start, allowing you to lock and unlock your vehicle without using the key fob. Additionally, you can add Automatic Climate Control, Adaptive Cruise Control, and an eight-way power driver’s seat. If you enjoy biking or kayaking around Monroe, consider adding roof rack side rails, and for easy unloading and loading, you can choose the power liftgate.

The Chevy Trailblazer ACTIV
As the name suggests, this is the Trailblazer to choose if you want to enjoy an active lifestyle. While many of the basic features of the first two trim options remain the same for the ACTIV trim, there are several distinct differences. The first of those is a more aggressive exterior with the mesh grille mentioned above, dual exhaust tips, a functional skid plate, 17-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels, Sport Terrain tires, and an available contrasting roof color that ramps up the first impression factor. The 2024 Trailblazer ACTIV trim also offers black roof rails and deep-tinted glass to enhance its appearance.
The interior of the ACTIV trim is similar to the first two trims, although the eight-way power driver’s seat is standard. You can also opt for Jet Black/Artemis with Yellow stitching and Evotex Seat trim, which is unavailable on other trims. Lastly, the ACTIV has the same 1,000 lb capacity as the other trims.
The Chevy Trailblazer RS
The RS includes many of the standard features as the other three models; however, the RS improves on the ACTIV’s exterior appearance by adding standard block front and rear lower fascias, 19-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels, ornamentation that signifies the RS version, and all-season blackwall tires.
Like its other Trailblazer counterparts, it offers great fuel economy, giving you around 29 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. On top of its impressive 8 inches of ground clearance, it also gives you tons of cargo room, 54.4 cu.ft. of available space, to be exact. Also, the RS has a variety of available package upgrades, including a Convenience Package that includes things like wireless charging capabilities and a hands-free power programmable liftgate. This same package is also available for the LT and ACTIV Trims.
The biggest difference between the ACTIV and RS trims comes down to your plans for your new Trailblazer. If off-roading or tackling tougher terrains is something you lean toward, the ACTIV might be the better option since it comes with a specialized suspension that’s built for off-roading brilliance.
