AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Automotive Detailer

SUMMARY

Clean and refurbish new and used automobiles and/or service customer vehicles. Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (May include all or some of the following)

  • Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down door jambs.
  • Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface.
  • Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
  • Apply revitalization and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
  • Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
  • Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • When required, shampoo and steam clean interior upholstery.
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
  • Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces.
  • Use touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials.
  • Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Fill vehicle with fuel.
  • Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
  • Replace missing or defective small parts.
  • Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
  • Insure proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle’s window.
  • Remove all window stickers on sold vehicles.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Complete any reasonable task requested by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience detailing vehicles
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and clean criminal history
  • Attention to detail in everything you do

Automotive Service Porter

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean the service and customer areas.
  • Perform routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees.
  • Clean service areas, technicians’ locker room and lunch room, halls, and shop bathroom.
  • Sweep technician stalls, service department and halls, and vending areas.
  • Clean all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines.
  • Maintain hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and restocking coffee and related supplies as needed.
  • Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies as needed.
  • Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
  • Wash shop truck, inside and out.
  • Remove all debris from lot.
  • Maintain yard equipment and cleaning supplies.
  • Drain and dispose of used oil filters properly.
  • Remove any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts and service manager.
  • Assist technicians with oil and water spills and emptying drain tubs.
  • Run errands as directed by foreman as well as pick up and deliver parts when needed.
  • Understand & comply with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Good customer service skills

Automotive Service Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform work specified on a repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
  • Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as an auto technician
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Fast learner
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Computer literate
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver’s license

Quick Lube Technician

New to the car business? Interested in the machinery side of the auto world? Our ground floor training will prepare you for growth & advancement in your career. Our veteran Service Technicians will give you hands on service drive trainings, help you ramp up quickly, and help familiarize you with the tools & equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check and communicate oil level to teammates
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Complete vehicle inspection
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service, keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first
